Two groups will form into one at: Shark Leathers, 6/142 Siganto Drive, Helensvale QLD Second point for riders to catch up is the Bearded Dragon, LOT 2 Tamborine Mountain Road, Tamborine QLD The ride will follow these routes and will finish at the Historic Rivermill where families can join the riders. The Historic Rivermill has family oriented facilities like Turtle feeding, Petting zoo and lots of manicured lawns to spread out on. Members of the Gold Coast Muscle Car Association will have up to 30 classic Muscle Cars on display. Click here to see some the vehicles that will be on display.
Live entertainment commences at 12.30pm 12.30pm - 1pm Paddy's band What a great way to start an event for children by starting out with a group of talented young people aged from 12 to 13 years old
1.20pm to 2.20pm Future Native We are blessed to have the amazing talents of FutureNative. Future Native is an established, multi-dimensional, acoustic driven band from Queensland, Australia consisting of Patrick Creamer (vocals and guitars), Melanie May (bass, mandolin, violin and vocals). Their sound has been described as a modern blend of emotionally charged and thought provoking anthems. The current single Superman, off their 2nd album 'The Politics of Love', is building momentum globally and is now receiving airplay in over 20 different countries. The band has just completed a very successful second tour of the UK , Ireland and Germany, where they are now building a solid fan base and attracting industry offers.
2.40 - 3.10 Crush Crush are a duo hailing from the Gold Coast Hinterland, with Daryll on guitar and Caz on bass and vocals, they play a wide variety of well known covers to suit most peoples tastes of music. From mellow ballads to hard rock. Daryll has a long history in the Australian music industry as a drummer. He has played in many original and cover bands in Melbourne, and he has worked live and in the studio as a profession musician. Caz has worked behind the scenes for many years in Melbourne with numerous bands, she picked up a bass a few years ago and has never looked back. This dynamic husband and wife team will provide you with some great music, some of which may be old favourites that you may not have heard for a long time.
A sausage sizzle will be run by volunteers and all proceeds will be going to the Starlight Children's Foundation During the Entertainment breaks, there will be a charity auction of donated goods and services from Businesses around the Gold Coast.
